Mr Rossman bin Omar holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois, University, USA in Electrical Engineering. He started his career with Telekom Malaysia in 1984 as Assistant Manager, Operation and Maintenance Division (Transmission) in Sarawak. In 1992 he moved to Network Technical Services Fibre Optic Unit, where he is responsible for preparing technical specification, tender evaluation and consultancy services on fibre optic system, development and implementation of SDH technology in Telekom Malaysia's network.

He was promoted to Senior Assistant Manager, Tender and Procurement in 1992 where he was responsible for tender and procurement of all transmission requirement of Telekom Malaysia. He is a member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia since 1984.

He was appointed as the Technical Manager of Fiberail Sdn Bhd in 1993 and assumed the post of Chief Technical Officer (formally known as General Manager (GM), Engineering Division until now. As Chief Technical Officer he is responsible in overseeing the fiber optic network reliability and future enhancement of the network in order to cater for the customers needs.
